Unitree Robotics has unveiled the G1, an advanced humanoid robot equipped with cutting-edge AI, articulating joints, and sensory technology, setting new standards in robotics and AI integration.
Unitree Robotics has recently introduced the G1 Humanoid Robot on May 13, 2024, a state-of-the-art AI avatar that has quickly captured global attention in the robotics and artificial intelligence fields. The G1 stands 127 cm tall and varies in weight between 35 to 47 kg, mimicking human stature and weight distribution. Its advanced mobility allows it to run at speeds up to 2 meters per second.
The robot features an impressive range of motion, equipped with 23 to 43 articulating joints that offer a peak torque of up to 120N.m, enabling it to perform complex, dynamic movements such as dynamic stand-ups, seat folding, and dance routines. Equipped with the cutting-edge Dex3-1 dexterous hand, the G1 demonstrates hybrid control of force and position, allowing it to handle delicate tasks like manipulating eggs and robust activities like welding and opening bottles with unparalleled precision.
Further enhancing its functionality, the G1 includes Intel RealSense D435 and LIVOX-MID360 3D lidar for comprehensive 360-degree perception, allowing seamless navigation and interaction with complex environments. Powered by a robust module supporting up to two hours of operation and featuring quick disassembly, the G1 combines performance with endurance.
Unitree offers two versions of this innovative robot: the standard G1 and the advanced G1 EDU. Priced at $16,000, the G1 offers an accessible entry point into advanced robotics technology. The G1 EDU is customizable to meet specific needs, featuring enhanced joint torque, additional sensory arrays, and the Dex3-1 hand, with prices varying based on configuration.
