Adobe’s new Live Co-Editing feature in Photoshop allows multiple users to edit the same project in real time, streamlining collaboration for creative teams, educators, and clients.
Adobe has introduced Live Co-Editing in Photoshop, a feature that allows multiple people to work on the same document at the same time. This new addition makes it easier for creative teams, educators, and clients to collaborate without needing to exchange multiple file versions or manage edits manually. The feature is currently available as a private beta.
Live Co-Editing builds on Photoshop’s existing tools by offering real-time editing capabilities. This is a big deal for artists and designers working on complex projects because it allows for instant collaboration. Supervisors and clients can review designs, add comments, or even make changes directly in the document. For educators, the feature opens up opportunities to teach directly in Photoshop while students follow along on the same file.
The feature works on both the desktop and web-app versions of Photoshop. However, it’s not yet available to everyone. To access Live Co-Editing, users need to apply for Adobe’s invite-only beta program by filling out a short survey. This approach helps Adobe refine the feature before releasing it more broadly.
Live Co-Editing is another step toward making creative workflows faster and more efficient. Whether you’re part of a professional team, working with clients, or teaching, this feature has the potential to save time and improve how people work together.
